Hello there! My name is Wes Truett, and I’m the owner of Central Mississippi House Buyers located in Jackson, Mississippi. I have been involved in real estate investing for more than twenty years, buying homes throughout Hinds County, Madison County, and Rankin County. I was born and raised in Jackson, and I’m grateful to still be doing work that I truly enjoy in the community I will always call home.

Over the past decade, my professional focus has been entirely on residential real estate investing. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping homeowners navigate the process of selling their homes quickly and efficiently. Many of the people I work with are going through a difficult season in life, and it’s a privilege to step in, listen carefully, and help make the situation a little easier and less overwhelming. I try to approach every conversation with a sympathetic ear and a servant’s heart.

Earlier in my career, I worked with the Mississippi Department of Transportation as a right-of-way agent and appraiser. In that role, I evaluated property and worked directly with landowners during acquisitions. The experience gave me a strong foundation in real estate valuation and reinforced the importance of fairness, transparency, and treating people with respect when they are making decisions that can significantly affect their lives.

In 2009, I completed my master’s work in Real Estate and Construction Management at the University of Denver. Soon after, I began work in the oil and gas industry, where I conducted title research and negotiated mineral leases with property owners. That work strengthened my understanding of property records, contracts, and the importance of clear, respectful negotiation when bringing real estate agreements together.

Central Mississippi House Buyers is not a real estate brokerage. We do not list houses for sale on the MLS on behalf of others, nor do I represent buyers looking for houses to purchase. We buy houses directly with cash, which means no commissions, no fees, and no closing costs for the seller. Because I’m the end buyer, I can often close in as little as a week. My background as a real estate professional is helpful when evaluating properties and structuring smooth transactions. At the same time, if I believe a homeowner would truly benefit more by listing their property with a real estate agent, I will say so and point them in the right direction. My goal is always the same: a win-win transaction where everyone walks away feeling good about the outcome.
